Jambvant sends his messenger to inform Ram that they have reached the sea shore and according to Swayamprabha Sita has been captive on the other side. Ram is restless and eagerly wants to reach at the sea shore. Hanuman and others meet Sampaati, Jatayus brother They express their gratitude towards Jatayu for sacrificing his life while saving Sita. Sampaati with his far sighted vulture eyes tells them Sita is currently in Ashok Vatika. He feels very helpless for not being able to help them because of his old age. Kaikasi informs Mandodari that Ravan has refused to send Sita back. Ram does tankaar of his bow to challenge Ravan and assure Sita that the moment Hanuman is back he will attack Ravan. Flash back of Ram and Sita where both of them were fasting for Rams well being.
