The show commences with Big B Amitabh Bachchan making a funny remark on increasing traffic on roads. He tells how traffic jam has ruined everyone's life. With another fastest finger the game starts and a Software Engineer Vikram Bhadravathi Lakshmikant from Bhadravathi, Karnataka reaches the Hot Seat. Once again Sonia Singh, Senior Managing Editor, NDTV sits as the Expert to help the contestants. Vikram Bhadravathi Lakshmikant sets the minimum guaranteed amount to Rs.3,20,000. Superbly playing he reaches Rs.1,60,000 and Amitabh Bachchan makes a call to Rajkumar Hirani and tells him that the contestant on Hot Seat, Vikram Bhadravathi Lakshmikant wants to become his assistant and for that he is ready to pay 5 Crore rupees if he wins. Confidently playing he makes an amount of Rs.50,00,000 and quits. The next one to make it to the Hot Seat is an Engineer, Mahendra Kant Adkane. Amitabh Bachchan reveals that Mahendra Kant has mentioned in his introduction that he wishes to date Julia Roberts. Amitabh Bachchan asks Mahendra Kant's wife if she was aware of her husband's wish. She tells she just got to know it from him and Amitabh Bachchan creates a humour out of it. The show comes to an end with this fun gesture and Amitabh Bachchan winds up the show with another 'Chand KBC Ke Chhand' where he tells story of a grandson's admiration for Hema Malini.

Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India. The 5th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will once again be hosted by Mr Amitabh Bachchan.
