In the name of Lord Ganesha the show starts with Amitabh Bachchan's recital of 'Vakratunda Mahakaya' on the occasion of 'Ganesh Chaturthi'. He then calls up the star cast of 'Mausam' Sonam Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor. They enter the stage with a dialogue from the film and then Amitabh Bachchan makes Shahid Kapoor say the opening greetings of the show. Once again the expert in today's episode is Sonia Singh, Senior Managing Editor, NDTV. Amitabh Bachchan welcomes the rollover contestant Mahendrakant Adkane from MP who answered 4 questions in the previous episode. He makes an amount of Rs.12,50,000 and quits. Then Amitabh Bachchan calls up on Hot Seat the star cast of 'Mausam' Sonam Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor. Before starting to play, they talk about their upcoming film Mausam. They set their minimum guaranteed amount to Rs.3,20,000. They also tell that the amount won will be given in charity to Ummeed the NGO. While they play, contestants and audience jump in and request Shahid and Sonam for dance, dialogues, songs etc. and have fun on the go. Both of them keep entertaining with their talks and acts. When they win Rs.12,50,000, the hooter blows and the episode comes to an end. So, these young stars of Hindi cinema use the amount for a good cause and help the underprivileged.

Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India. The 5th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will once again be hosted by Mr Amitabh Bachchan.
