He welcomes and introduces the 10 new contestants to the set. Producer and TV Presenter, Siddharth Kak sits as the expert for today's episode. The first one to reach the Hot Seat after the Fastest Finger First is Reena from Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. She sets her minimum guaranteed amount to Rs.80,000. But, unfortunately she couldn't reach there and goes back without winning any money. Next to reach the Hot Seat is Sanjay Kumar Chaudhary from Darbhanga, Bihar. Playing amazingly, he wins Rs.25,00,000 and quits the game. Next contestant to make it to the Hot Seat is 21 year old student, Sagar Popat Borade from Osmanabad, Maharashtra, who also goes back empty handed. At the end of the show, Amitabh Bachchan reads out a funny poem about a teacher and a student, sent brother sister duo Mudit-Mudita, on Chand KBC Ke Chhand and concludes the show.

Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India. The 5th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will once again be hosted by Mr Amitabh Bachchan.
