Amitabh Bachchan enters the set with the rollover contestant Santosh V. Bangera.
He quotes Bharatendu Harishchandra on this occasion of Hindi Diwas saying that it is important to respect one's own language. He also recites some lines from his father, Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan's poem 'Kaun Roke Ye Toofan'. Santosh V. Bangera won Rs.6,40,000 in the previous episode and resumes the game with 9th question. He uses his remaining two lifelines, Phone-O-Friend and Double Dip but couldn't make it to the next question and drops down to his miminum guaranteed amount of Rs.1,60,000. Next to sit on the Hot Seat is K. G. Sofi Dinesh a Gold medalist in M.B.A. who answers wrong at her least risk question after reaching the minimum guaranteed amount of Rs.1,60,000 and retires. The next one to make it to the Hot Seat is 31 year old Yusuf Mallu from Banswara, Rajasthan. He met with an accident 4 years back and his limbs became paralyzed. After telling his story, he became emotional and Amitabh Bachchan wipes his tears and gives him water to drink and starts the game.He uses his 1st lifeline, Audience Poll on his 8th question and wins Rs.6,40,000. Before they could proceed further the time of the show runs out and another exciting episode comes to a conclusion.


Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India. The 5th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will once again be hosted by Mr Amitabh Bachchan.
