Amitabh Bachchan sits in front of the rollover contestant Yusuf Mallu, from Banswara, who won Rs.6,40,000 in the previous episode. He then fulfills his promise of giving Yusuf Mallu a chance to talk to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. He quits after winning Rs.12,50,000 and leaves paying gratitude. Next contestant to sit at the Hot Seat is 36 year old Tapan Maity from Kolkata who takes home a sum of Rs.12,50,000. Then, Ranbir Kapoor enters the set with a performing dramatically on his father's famous words from the song 'Meri Umar Ke Naujawano'. He states that he is playing for a cause 'Pepsi India Initiative' where they save water. He calls up his friend, film Director Ayan Mukherjee who makes fun of him on phone. Ranbir also pays tribute to the legendary Shammi Kapoor. Then, he discloses about his new Pepsi ad campaign 'Pepsi Ek Crore Ka Shortcut'. Amitabh Bachchan then says a dialogue from the movie Deewar and Ranbir tries to imitate him. Entertainingly he manages to bag Rs.12,50,000 and the time of the show runs out. Amitabh Bachchan wishes him luck for his upcoming film, Rockstar and before leaving Ranbir Kapoor makes a request to Amitabh Bachchan to join him in a dance on the song 'Saara Zamaana'. The show comes to an end with both of them dancing to the Kishore Kumar number.

Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India. The 5th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will once again be hosted by Mr Amitabh Bachchan.
