Amitabh Bachchan tells the importance of ones roots, be it ethnicity or language. He then reads out the opening greetings first in Hindi, then in his regional language Avadhi, then in his wife's language Bengali, his daughter-in-law's language Tulu, and finally in his mother's language Punjabi. Then, he welcomes the rollover contestant Veena Jain from Mumbai who reads out a poetry which contains names of Amitabh Bachchan's movies. The next contestant to sit on the Hot Seat is Binayak Goswami from Hubli, West Bengal. He sets his minimum guaranteed amount at Rs.1,60,000. He plays cheerfully and goes home with a cheque of Rs.12,50,000. Next participant to reach the Hot Seat is Shehzad Aziz Lakhani from Yavatmal, Maharashtra. He sets his minimum guaranteed amount at Rs.3,20,000. As soon as he wins Rs.1,60,000, the show comes to an end and on his Chand KBC Ke Chhand, Amitabh Bachchan says a tongue twister which isn't understood by anyone, so he explains that it means that a father-son duo always keep quarreling because of their hot temperament. With this light mood, he signs-off and another episode concludes.

Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India. The 5th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will once again be hosted by Mr Amitabh Bachchan.
