Amitabh Bachchan enters the set of KBC and shows respect to the female fraternity. He tells how blessed the world is to have women as a part of it. He makes the rollover contestant, Manju Singh speak to Lata Mangeshkar, who also celebrates her birthday today. Manju Singh dedicates a song 'Aayega Aane Wala' to the singer of the song. She takes home an amount of Rs.12,50,000. The next contestant to sit on the Hot Seat is a housewife from Delhi, Richa Jain. She sets her minimum guaranteed amount at Rs.1,60,000. Confidently playing she reaches Rs.12,50,000 but a wrong answer make her drop down to Rs.1,60,000. The next participant to make it to the Hot Seat is Satish Kumar Arya from Rajasthan who wins minimum guaranteed amount of Rs.1,60,000 without any lifeline. The show comes to an end and he stays as the rollover contestant.
Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India. The 5th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will once again be hosted by Mr Amitabh Bachchan.
