Another special episode of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati -- Doosra Mauka' (Second Chance) kicks off as Amitabh Bachchan discloses that in this episode they will try to help Aparna Malikar from Varakautha, Maharashtra. Then, he welcomes the rollover contestant Satish Kumar Arya from Rajasthan who secured his minimum guaranteed amount without using any lifeline. Astonishingly he manages to answer 2 more questions without any help. He then compares the set of KBC with Solar System. He says that Amitabh Bachchan is equivalent to Sun and others are like the planets and other celestial bodies who surround him. He uses his 2 lifelines, Expert Advice and Double Dip on his 9th question and wins Rs.12,50,000. Unsure of the next answer he quits and takes home a sum of Rs.12,50,000. 'Kaun Banega Crorepati -- Doosra Mauka' (Second Chance) initiates with the guest of the evening, Aparna Malikar, who is a widow of a farmer Sanjay Malikar, who committed suicide in Vidarbha because of piling interest on bank loan. She manages to bag a sum of Rs.6,40,000 for herself and quits. Ajit Ranade gives his expert economic opinion on farming and its difficulties. Towards the end of the show, Amitabh Bachchan concludes with some lines from his father Harivansh Rai's poem 'Hai Andheri Raat Par Diva Jalana Kab Mana Hai'.

Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India.
