The show kicks off once again with the most dashing man in India, Amitabh Bachchan entering the set as the host. Rollover contestant Saroj Devi Mishra sits on the Hot Seat and Amitabh Bachchan reads out a letter to her which is sent by her husband Anil Kumar Mishra. She doesn't believe that her husband has written these romantic lines for her. Amitabh Bachchan makes a phone call to her husband and makes the couple talk with each other. Amitabh Bachchan talks with her father who reveals how much struggles he has seen in life. The game starts with Saroj Devi Mishra who had answered 3 questions in the previous episode. She somehow reaches the 7th question but fails to proceed further and takes home an amount of Rs. 1, 60,000 which was the minimum guaranteed amount set by her. Without further wait Fastest Finger First is played and 25 year old lecturer, Navleen Kaur from Jaipur, Rajasthan reaches the Hot Seat. Just like previous episode, the expert for this episode, again, is Ajit Ranade, Chief Economist, Aditya Birla Group. The game starts and confident Navleen Kaur soon, she reaches the minimum guaranteed amount of Rs. 1, 60,000. This young lecturer fortunately manages to win Rs. 25,00,000 and quits without taking any further risk. Before she could leave the Hot Seat, the time of the episode also runs out. Amitabh Bachchan signs off with his "Chand KBC Chhand" special where he satirically explains the condition of the leaders and politicians of India before and after elections using two situational Bollywood songs.

Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India. The 5th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will once again be hosted by Mr Amitabh Bachchan.
