The episode starts with a colourful Dandiya performance representing the festive season. Amitabh Bachchan makes reference to some successful past participants and tells what they taught. Another fastest finger first initiates the game and Damodar Awate from Maharashtra reach the Hot Seat. On asking, he tells Amitabh Bachchan that after working 365 days a year, he only manages to save around Rs.30,000. He himself feels pity his financial situation. Amitabh Bachchan gives him hope with his words. Damodar's wife expresses her wish of building a home of their own with the amount they win. Damodar Awate expresses his dislike towards the corrupt government. He tells that he wants to become the chief minister of Maharashtra so that he can end the existing corruption and white collar crimes in the society. He quits the game with a sum of Rs.12,50,000. The next contestant to make it to the Hot Seat is Sukhnandan Kolhapure from Chhattisgarh. Who manages to win Rs.1,60,000 before the time of the show comes to an end. Amitabh leaves the screen as he wishes Happy Navratri to everyone.
Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India. The 5th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will once again be hosted by Mr Amitabh Bachchan.
