The show starts with everyone singing Happy Birthday for Amitabh Bachchan. He thanks everyone for making Kaun Banega Crorepati such a huge success. He thanks, all the participants and the viewers for loving KBC as they do. The first contestant to make it to the Hot Seat in this episode is a talkative MBBS, Garima Sharma from Jaipur, Rajasthan. She presents a letter to Amitabh Bachchan on the occasion of his birthday. She reads out the letter and thanks him for everything. Once again Richa Anirudh (TV Anchor -- IBN7) sits as the Expert for the episode. Garima takes home an amount of Rs.12,50,000. The next contestant to reach the Hot Seat is Sujata Wankhade from Pulgaon, Maharashtra. She sets her minimum guaranteed amount at Rs.1,60,000. She manages to answer 8 question with the help of 3 lifelines and win Rs.6,40,000 before the time of the episode runs out. She statys as the rollover contestant and Amitabh Bachchan thanks people all around the world for his birthday as he signs-off.
Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India. The 5th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will once again be hosted by Mr Amitabh Bachchan.
