Amitabh Bachchan enters the set with the rollover contestant Sujata Wankhade from Pulgaon, Maharashtra. Before he could proceed with the conventional introduction, the computer makes a sound effect and requests Amitabh Bachchan to ask Sujata Wankhade about her weight issues. The computer communicates in a funny manner with Amitabh Bachchan by producing sound effects. The game resumes with the 9th question for 12,50,000. Sujata uses her last lifeline Double Dip to get through this question. She answers 2 more questions and wins an amount of Rs.50,00,000 and quits the game. The next one to make it to the Hot Seat is Vishal Kumar Gupta from Tikamgarh, Madhya Pradesh. He also sets his minimum guaranteed amount at the "most popular" Rs.1,60,000. After winning Rs.25,00,000, he reads out a few lines of the poem 'Himmat Karne Walon Ki Haar Nahi Hoti' by Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Before moving ahead Amitabh Bachchan makes a call to Vishal Kumar Gupta's wife and lets them talk. Vishal very casually answers her excited wife on phone. On this, Amitabh Bachchan amusingly points out that Vishal has said that he has won Rs.25,00,000 in a very casual way.

Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India.
