Towards the eve of Season 5 of KBC, Amitabh Bachchan shows the flipside of villages in the beginning of this finale week episode. He tells that whenever we hear of the word village, we visualize a sunrise, green fields, farmers, etc. but; we don't realize the talent dwelling there. The episode proceeds with the 10 new contestants of the last week of Season 5 of KBC. The first contestant to reach the Hot Seat in the Finale Week is Kashyap Silon Bagde from Nagpur, Maharashtra. Pankaj Pachauri, the Managing Editor of NDTV, sits as the Expert in today's episode. Kashyap leaves the Hot Seat after winning an amount of Rs.3,20,000. After him, Amitabh Bachchan welcomes spinning maestro of Indian cricket team, Harbhajan Singh. He requests Amitabh to sing a few lines of his song 'Rang Barse'. Then he gets up to dance with the contestants on the sets. And then, he announces the winner of the Pepsi 1 Crore Jackpot, Hitesh Wardhan. Train driver, Bhupendra Kumar Harmukh from Chhattisgarh reaches the Hot Seat and wins Rs.1,60,000 before the time of the episode comes to an end. In a poetic style, Amitabh Bachchan signs-off telling how KBC plays the role of a medium between the talent & success.
Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India. The 5th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will once again be hosted by Mr Amitabh Bachchan.
