Amitabh Bachchan starts the show with some statistics about the success of this season of KBC. He tells that if KBC invited celebrities, it also gave chance to the ones who really needed it. He says that, 160 contestants played Fastest Finger First and consisting of 41 male & 45 female contestants who made it to the Hot Seat. Pankaj Pachauri (Managing Editor, NDTV) once again marks his presence as the Expert for the episode. Rollover contestant, Bhupendra Harmukh from Chhattisgarh resumes his game from his 7th question & quits after answering 10 questions, taking home an amount of Rs.25,00,000. The Band Baja Baarat duo, Anushka Sharma & Ranvir Singh, show up on the sets of KBC for the second time. The stars tell about their new flick, Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl which is about a Casanova, Ricky Bahl. Ranvir then does a small rap on KBC & their upcoming movie. Ranvir also says the famous Amitabh Bachchan dialogue from the movie Deewar. Before leaving he does a dance too on Amitabh Bachchan's item song Chumma De De from the movie Hum. Next contestant Gunjan Kumar from Patna wins a sum of Rs.3,20,000. And with the sound of hooter, the show comes to an end. And in another Chand KBC Ke Chhand, Amitabh Bachchan poetically describes the journey of KBC Season 5, trying to highlight the achievements the contestants & the KBC crew made during this season.
Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India. The 5th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will once again be hosted by Mr Amitabh Bachchan.
