The leading gangsters of the world have chosen a new boss, Devraj, who is fronting a big company. Reporter Payal and Johnny are trying to get an interview with Devraj, but that fails, but soon Payal and Devraj fall in love. Payal's brother, who has saved Devraj from assassination by Glushan's henchmen is a police informer, working for his friend Inspector Amit, who's also in love with Payal. Amit tells Payal, that Devraj is a gangster, but she doesn't care. Devraj gets killed, and Amit, with the help of beaten up Payal is able to convict Devraj of the murder, who is sentenced to death. But a wounded gangster tells a different story, and Devraj is set free. Outraged about Payal's betrayal he seeks revenge, but her story gives the whole affair a completely different touch, but the puzzle still doesn't fit completely, and soon Payal and Devraj are in bigger trouble than before when they find out who really killed her brother...

Sarika (Deepshika) is a single mother, who lives in Mumbai, India, along with her physically challenged daughter and works as an Editor with a magazine. One day she gets a phone call from a female reader (Sherlyn Chopra), who is upset as her submission was not printed. The caller seemed threatening and she notifies her friend, D.C.P. Chaudhary (Harsh Chhaya), who meets with her but is unable to provide any assistance. Then late one night Sarika gets a visit from him and Crime Branch Inspector Sunil Ranade (Deep Raj Rana), informing her that a businessman has been brutally knifed to death with a blood-smeared 'swastika' mark on his forehead. They inform her that they re-dialed the last number from the victim's phone number and found that it was her work number. They also informed her that they suspect that the killer is a woman, who has killed another male in Delhi in a similar fashion and her modus operandi appears to be to kill married males who are unfaithful to their respective spouses. They provide her with a recording machine just in case the killer calls again. The female does call again and attempts to befriend Sarika but gets upset and evasive when questioned about her identity and whereabouts. Shortly thereafter the Police find another dead male victim and a hunt begins for this elusive, seemingly untraceable killer, who never leaves any clues.

Along the way they chance upon several people some couples, some individuals, some believers in the institution of marriage and the romance of togetherness, some non- believers. Abhay and Ritika have never held hands, never walked together in the rain, never romanced each other and yet, as per ritual, they have to spend 5 days together in one room, with one bed, as husband and wife, in a situation where they are expected to love each other and become lovers. It is a film set amidst middle class India where romance and love start at the ultimate commitment-marriage.
