Karna starts learning the art of archery from Parashurama

Karna's Guru tells him to request Dronacharya to teach him the art of archery. Karna tells Dronacharya that he wants to learn the art of archery from him. On learning that Karna is a charioteer's child, Dronacharya refuses to teach him the art of archery. Karna becomes furious at Dronacharya for the same and challenges him that he will become the greatest archer. Karna lies to Parashurama that he is a Brahmin, to learn the art of archery. He starts learning the art of archery from Parashurama.

Arjun rescues Dronacharya from a crocodile

Dronacharya becomes sad and breaks the idol created by Eklavya. Duryodhan becomes furious at Arjun and blames Dronacharya for his injustice towards Eklavya. Arjun becomes enraged at Duryodhan for the same. Dronacharya asks Arjun to prove his ability as a great archer. On learning that Duryodhan blamed him for the injustice to Eklavya, Dronacharya tells Ashwathama to inform Duryodhan that he will never be unfair to any of his students. Arjun rescues Dronacharya from a crocodile.

Eklavya gives his right thumb to Dronacharya as Gurudakshina

Arjun follows a stranger and learns about Eklavya. Eklavya introduces himself to Dronacharya and seeks his blessings. He informs Dronacharya that he learns archery in front of his idol. Later, Eklavya demonstrates his archery skills to Dronacharya. Kripi enquires Dronacharya about Eklavya. Duryodhan asks Eklavya to become the commander of Hastinapur. On Dronacharya’s insistence, Eklavya gives his right thumb to him as Gurudakshina. Dronacharya orders Eklavya to return to Magadh.
