Draupadi emerges from the holy fire

Drupad refuses to accept his daughter. Yaaj and Upyaaj try to convince Drupad about the same, but in vain. The holy fire does not allow Drupad to leave the premises. Drupad begs for difficulties and problems for his daughter. A young and beautiful woman emerges from the holy fire. Yaaj and Upyaaj inform Drupad that his daughter will become popular as Draupadi. Draupadi seeks blessings from Drupad, but in vain.

Drupad is blessed with a son

Mahabharat - [Full Episode] - 9th January 2014 : Ep 83

Yaaj and Upyaaj perform a yagya for Drupad in order get him a son. Arjun finds a few injured saints in the bushes. The Pandavas tend to them and serve food. A saint informs the Pandavas about Drupad's violence against them as they have failed to get him a son. He tells them that Drupad has vowed to take revenge on Drona and the Pandavas. A young and energetic man emerges from the holy fire and seeks blessings from his father, Drupad. Yaaj and Upyaaj name him as Dhrishtadyumna.
