This special episode starts with Amitabh Bachchan explaining the importance of family. He reveals that this week KBC features 'Jodi' (Partners) throughout this festive week. The first Jodi to reach the Hot Seat is the father-daughter duo, Vimal & Sneha Tiwari from Chhapra, Bihar. They set their minimum guaranteed amount at Rs.1,60,000. Rajiv Makhni who is the Managing Editor Technology, NDTV sits as the Expert for the episode. Sneha tells that she wants to change her father's habit of watching excessive TV, while her father complains her of having excessive fast food. Playing superbly, both of them make Rs.25,00,000 and quit the game. Next to make it to the Hot Seat are Yogendra Singh & Ravi Bhan Singh, brother-in-laws from Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh. When Amitabh asks them to tell their specialties, Yogendra makes fun of Ravi's baldness saying that he has used all the hair products. Ravi makes fun of Yogendra's weak memory. They are able to answer 4 questions before the episode comes to an end. They stay as the rollover contestants and Amitabh Bachchan signs-off with his wishes of Dhanteras to everyone.
Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India. The 5th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will once again be hosted by Mr Amitabh Bachchan.
