King Subala prepares his army for the attack. He gets to know that Bhishma is the one who is attacking Gandhara. Gandhari decides to join her father in the war. Lord Krishna preaches a few human values. King Subala is puzzled over Bhishma's visit. Bhishma seeks King Subala’s friendship. Bhishma tells King Subala that he has a marriage proposal for Gandhari with Dhritarashtra. This worries King Subala, but Bhishma tries to convince him by offering Hastinapur. Gandhari feels happy about the proposal.
