Vidura informs Dhritarashtra, Satyavati and Bhishma that Kunti has given birth to a son. Dhritarashtra announces to celebrate the occasion. Later, Dhritarashtra expresses his displeasure to Gandhari and enquires her about her delivery. Shakuni tries to console Gandhari. A maid informs Gandhari that Dhritarashtra has ordered her female attendant Sukhada to go to his room. Gandhari becomes displeased on learning the same and asks Sukhada to obey Dhritarashtra's order.
