Satyavati admits to Amba that she had sent Bhishma to abduct her. Amba seeks justice. She orders Bhishma to marry her but he refuses as he has taken an oath. Amba swears that she will take revenge on Bhishma. She seeks the help of Parashurama. He refuses her request as Bhishma is his most trusted pupil. A grand ceremony is held for Vichitravirya’s coronation. During the ceremony, Vichitravirya feels uncomfortable and he starts bleeding.
