A new episode begins on the evening when many people celebrate the New Year according to various mythologies in our country. Amitabh Bachchan wishes New Year to everyone before the game starts with the rollover contestants who reached the Hot Seat but couldn't start the game in the previous episode, Sona Duggal & her sister's husband Jagdeep Ghai. They manage to end up with an amount of Rs.6,40,000. In this last episode of the Jodi Special week, Amitabh Bachchan calls the guests of the evening, the extremely popular Jodi (pair) & the star cast of TV Series 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain', Sakshi Tanwar & Ram Kapoor. Amitabh Bachchan tells them that he has been a very big fan of these two and he has to learn a lot from them. On this, Ram Kapoor reveals that Amitabh Bachchan has always inspired him to become an actor. He tells that his claim to fame has always been that he is from the same school as Amitabh Bachchan, Sherwood College. He also acted in the same dramatics society as him and also shared the name on the wall of graduates in dramatics with him. Sakshi tells that if she had found Amitabh earlier, she wouldn't even have noticed Ram. The game commences and the on-screen duo wins Rs.25,00,000 for their charitable cause before the show comes to an end.
Kaun Banega Crorepati, popularly known as KBC is an Indian reality/game show based on the UK game show ""Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"" The show first aired in 2000 and was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This was the first appearance of Bachchan on Indian television. The show is hugely popular in India. The 5th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will once again be hosted by Mr Amitabh Bachchan.
